goodbye wordpress
After much deliberation I have decided to move my blog from wordpress onto blogger. WHAT!?! I wanted to use wordpress to support their ethos and I really liked that it wasn’t google who appear to be taking over the world. But… I have another blog of our daily life that I do for family and friends in Australia that is hosted by blogger (therefore google) and it was becoming increasingly easier to create posts and especially to add photos which I know is not what wordpress is designed for, and it was definitely becoming a bit of a palaver. Also I have read a few stories about people’s wordpress blogs (especially photography blogs) suddenly being taken offline for various reasons with no forewarning. It would just be completely inconvenient and annoying to lose all your hard work so abrubtly. While I admit these cases are rare, I don’t fancy taking the risk. So….. Come on over to my new home

I was in France for 2 weeks. It has been a lot of ridic-turesque villages and countryside. Adventures and disasters. Lots of potential photos flying past the car window and no time or opportunity to stop and realise them.
I have especially noticed loads of gorgeous signage. Most of that has been from said car window, but I have a very small selection that made it onto my camera!

loved this packaging of some very local yoghurt

Brighton
Cold…. Windy…. Cloudy… Everything you want from a day at the beach!

we couldn’t wait to get outta there and home to balmy London. Oh the irony.
I was totally apathetic

….then I got a big caught up in it.

even the plums were feeling romantic

Actually I watched the wedding at work, but it was kinda fun. We had a mini wedding party with champagne, little sandwiches, scotch eggs, crisps and victoria sponge cake.
We streamed the live feed on our monitors then it was back to the world of Harry Potter. As you may be able to tell from this picture, we are not far away from deadline. Eeeeep!

My trip home tonight. Four strangers on a train all rockin’ the red shoes. Love it.
